Our ARES organization participates in numerous activities
that enable us to test our equipment and processes so that
when a true emergency situation arises, we will be better
prepared to perform the duties assigned to us by the Clallam
County Emergency Operations Center. This section will
contain information about our exercises and drills: what we
learned, what worked, what did not work, and how we can
improve for the next time. |

Amateur Radio
Communications for Community Events |
As emergency communicators, we need
to continually practice our skills and check out our equipment.
Besides our ARES Emergency Drills, one of the activities that
allow our members to exercise their skills and equipment is
through participation in community events. We provide course
communications for the annual
North Olympic Discovery
Marathon, and for the first time in 2014, for the
Great Olympic
Adventure Trail (GOAT) Marathon.
